William Stipp, Senior Vice President
William “Bill” brings 30 years of public sector experience to his consulting having worked in Illinois, Massachusetts and Arizona which included work on National, State and Regional committees, contract mediation, municipal operations and public sector budgeting. His fire service background includes holding all chief officer ranks including Chief of Department for more than 15 years of his 27 year career. William has been elected at large to serve as a member of the City Council in his hometown of 72,000. This extraordinary perspective further deepens Bill’s understanding of the issues facing local governments.
William has a unique blend of formal education, career experience and professional activities that combine to make his perspective on today’s issues unique and applicable. He is focused as a public sector consultant concentrating on operational management/assessment, strategic planning and employee development, Bill also contracts with the U.S. Army training their Homeland Response Forces as a Subject Matter Expert in the function and application of the Unified and Incident Command Systems.
Bill has previously served as the fire science program director for Community Colleges in Arizona and Illinois developing and sustaining the Associates of Applied Science Degree in Fire Science. William’s education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Service Administration and he is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration Degree from Grand Canyon University.
